.:. Mightiest and Fairest of all F-Elves .:. Of the availability of the drawings

I’ve finally uploaded some about half of the F-Elven-Paintings to my Artflakes account.
So, if you feel the need for it, you can go and get one of them for yourselves.

Here is the link for you:

There are other paintings too.
Have fun.

The Rings

That’s it, folks.
Funny enough, it’s not only the end of this series but also the end of the year.
Do you believe me if I say it was not planed this way?

So, what’s your favorite?
Did you enjoy it?
Myself, I most certainly did.

If you want some of the paintings for your own, you can buy copies at artflakes:

poster und Kunstdrucke kaufen

Or just ask me if you want something special (like … say a small dragon painted in your daughters nursery).

.:. Mightiest and Fairest of all F-Elves .:. Of Numenor sinking

Numenor sinking

Maybe you don’t see it, but this one is (very, very) remotely inspired by the painting ‚Kanagawa oki nami ura‘ by the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai.

Also it’s nearly the same as the first Numenor painting (with additional damage),
but rotated by 45°.

.:. Mightiest and Fairest of all F-Elves .:. Of Numenor that Is

Numenor

The Numenor Series is a very recent one.
You can spot the difference to the first ones, done about two years ago, don’t you?
More details, little details.
I really can’t say which I like better, the early ones, or the newer.
Do you?

And because this is no advent calendar, I will continue on Wednesday.

.:. Mightiest and Fairest of all F-Elves .:. Of Ships sailing into the West

into the west

Again, everything that’s needed is in the picture. Ships, waves, the west, wind and a few birds … I like this painting.
The ships look a bit Scandinavian, don’t you think?

Melians Girdle broken
Melians Girdle broken

This is the counterpart to the picture from November, 11th – of the girdle of melian.
But now the leaves have gone, and so has half of the mountain.
It’s a pity.

.:. Mightiest and Fairest of all F-Elves .:. Of the seven swans

The Downfall of Doriath
seven swans

Something is not quite right with this picture.
I like the birds and the waterline …
but the figure of Tuor is too big for the rest of the scene my taste.
And why didn’t I notice before that the whole thing is crooked?

The Death of Glaurung
The Death of Glaurung

Remember the picture of Niniel?
Same here.
Except this time, Glaurung does not even look cute.
As he oughtn’t.

But hey, it’s not my fault, but the storie’s.
