I’ve told you about this miraculous ink I’ve found called „old golden green“ , remember? I’m still pretty stoked about it, even bought another bottle (the first one is about to run out)
So today I want to show you something. Maybe this will explain a bit about my excitement. This is a fragment of some scribbling I’ve done. The brown (and blue) stuff on the right is from an ink called „sepia“, but the rest is just „old golden green“. All of it. The olive green, the yellow-brownish stuff and also the blue-green parts around the edges! (I’ve read somewhere – don’t now if it’s true – that the ink consists of four different colours, none of which is green)
Amazing, don’t you think? I could just go on dripping and splashing this stuff on paper, merely to see what will happen! This is setting back my drawing practice, and also it’s a bit of a drag on my creativity … but… no it’s not. the creativity is just changing. Moving more into a …less figurative … more … splashy direction. Let’s see what will come of it!
