I really love the first part of the Silmarillion. I like this religious, sacred … vibe it creates. It’s all very grandiose but not very big on details.

I wanted to capture this in the pictures as well. Very simple, as few lines as posible. A few whirls and sticks for trees, some lines for rivers, a few mountains and hills, thats all the land needs to, and thats all the land gets to be.

A Sun and a Moon. Thats it.

  1. Ich mag das Bild unheimlich gern, eben wegen dem, was du auch beschreibst: mit so wenig so viel sagen und zeigen. Da ist so eine schöne Einheit in dem Bild, ein Ganzes.
